Analyze HR performance against business results using smartHR reporting and analysis

What gets measured gets done.  This old saying also applies to HR Processes.

Many organisations are finding it challenging to measure and report on HR performance.  In the majority of cases HR metrics are being compiled by central departments and distributed via e-mail in spreadsheet formats to the various stakeholders.   In some cases reporting on HR processes has been changed to ‘pull-type’ reporting, where managers and stakeholders ‘pull’ predefined reports via web based services.   Many will agree that these practices are both costly, particularly in terms of time, and require considerable discipline and dedication to be made to work.  Understandably, in the real-world, such systems are simply not working.

A solution to provide stakeholders with relevant information is to use the dash board framework to ‘push’ predefined reports and graphics via the portal based interface.

Zalaris smartHR based on SAP HCM includes preconfigured templates for business intelligence, utilising both the SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and the innovative SAP Business Objects (BO) functionality.

As a part of the smartHR template, Zalaris has created a number of dash board style reports that are displayed to managers as well as employees.    For example, many of our customers find our dashboard reports are helpful for following up on sick leave or stated remaining vacation quotas.  These reports are typically displayed (‘pushed’) on a manager’s start page in our portal interface.
