Leading Environmantal Service Provider

The leading supplier of environmental services in Norway with more than 1’000 employees outsourced their employee data management, payroll, time and attendance and travel expenses to Zalaris in 2004.  No staff was transferred to Zalaris as a part of the agreement.

A complete SAP based solution for employee master data maintenance and payroll was implemented.   Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) functionality was later added.  The duration of the project was approximately four months.

The agreement with Zalaris enabled the customer to rapidly implement best practice HR processes and one common payroll solution.  In addition overall costs were reduced to variable costs.

At the time of making the initial decision the customer had a non-SAP based ERP strategy and based their finance and accounting on Movex, but they have since implemented SAP ERP.

The customer renewed their contract with Zalaris in 2010 and prolonged the agreement for another five years.
